Element 14 launches the Competition $1,000 to Change the World.

Element 14 Change the World Competition website Inspires the participants by asking them if they have an idea that could Change the World?.
Engineering is one way in which talent, skills, expertise and imagination can be combined and used to Change the World for the better, both now and in generations to come. These changes could be big and bold, but it is often the smaller, ever evolving ideas that can have the biggest impact. As per the webpage, Participants now have the chance to make thier mark, what they can do to Change the World?

About The Challenge

Participants were asked to Select $1,000 worth of products and tell Element 14 team how would they use them to Change the World. Competition was all about to hear creative, achievable ideas that could make an impact on the world today. Whether it will change the world for everyone, just individual family, local community or for people on the other side of the globe.

Participants selected $1,000 worth of products and explained their ideas in 500 words or less, how they would use them to Change the World. The competition was simply about ideas.

WHAT IS THE AIM OF THE CHALLENGE?

The aim of the contest is to reward an innovative idea that could Change the World. The contest Organisers wanted to hear creative, achievable ideas that could make an impact on the world today. Whether it will change the world for everyone, just your family, your local community or for people on the other side of the globe, they just want you to tell them about your idea. The competition is simply about ideas: to enter participants need not to buy or develop anything.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE ?

THE SCHEDULE

Phase 1 : REGISTRATION AND SUBMISSION

28th February 2017: The final date to submit your entry

14th March 2017: Finalists will be announced

Finalists: 25 Finalists will be asked to submit a video describing their idea in more detail.

Phase 2 : PROOF OF CONCEPT

28th April 2017: Video entries will need to be submitted

EVALUATION of concept

Phase 3 : FINAL

Second week of June 2017: Winners will be announced

Winners: 10 Winners were chosen to receive the $1,000 worth of products that they selected to support their idea and the opportunity to talk to element 14 teams about making their idea a reality.
